Students meet with the President & First Lady of Columbia College

The atmosphere at Columbia College was electric and family-oriented.  The Columbia College students, staff, and professors were genuinely hospitable.  We thank everyone who supported us in this wonderful college tour, particularly Principal Wilson and the Administrative Team, and our wonderful Guidance Department.  It was truly an experience.

We are especially grateful to President John H. Dozier and First Lady Victoria Dozier for making time to engage with us.  We were honored to speak with President & First Lady Dozier about our goals and dreams as students, and how Columbia College may fit in our plan for success.  In particular, First Lady Dozier has been, and continues to be, a great supporter of our Lee County School District.  We remain grateful for the time she spent pouring into the lives of students from Lee County during our annual summer camp, and hope to host her again soon.

After all, it's not every day that high school students have the opportunity to meet and converse with the president of a college or university.  Our Superintendent, Mr. Bernard McDaniel, will forever be grateful to President and First Lady Dozier for hosting Lee Central High School's students and staff.
