We hope that this correspondence finds you and the members of your family doing well. The purpose of this communication is to inform you that we are beginning the registration process for our summer program. Camp Lee: Read, Lead, Succeed will consist of a strong academic focus in English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics. We are extending the opportunity to enroll your child/children in our summer program to address any gaps in learning due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to prepare your child to be successful at the next grade level. We believe that our students will benefit academically, socially, and culturally through their experiences as participants. Please be advised that this camp is provided for students currently enrolled in grades 4K-12th grade in Lee County School District. This camp is for enrichment and academic recovery, not promotion to the next grade level.

Camp Lee: Read, Lead, Succeed will begin on Monday, June 14, 2021, and conclude on Friday, July 2, 2021. We will operate Monday-Friday. Students enrolled in 4K – 3 rd grades will attend 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and students in grades 4th -12th will attend 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. We will provide breakfast, lunch, and transportation. You have the option to enroll your child in the face-to-face program or the virtual program. We hope that you will consider allowing your child to participate. You may register your child for Camp Lee: Read, Lead, Succeed at the link below or visit our website at https://www.leeschooldistrictsc.org/. Registration will close on Sunday, May 9. If you have any questions, you may contact the Office of Instruction at (803)484-5327. Continue to stay safe.
